Anduro Wallet &
Sidechain Explorer
A self-custody Bitcoin wallet and network explorer built for the Anduro multi-sidechain ecosystem moving value between Bitcoin and cBTC with speed, transparency, and full user control

OVERVIEW
Built for the Anduro Sidechain Network
Anduro Wallet is the primary access point for users interacting with Bitcoin and the Anduro network of sidechains combining the security of self custody with the flexibility of a modern multi-asset wallet.
Anduro is a multi-sidechain network built by cloning Bitcoin's codebase and extending it with additional functionality asset and NFT issuance, low transaction fees, and enhanced features while anchoring back to Bitcoin through merged mining. The Anduro Wallet gives users a single, self custody interface to move value between the Bitcoin mainchain and the Anduro sidechain, issue their own digital assets, and track everything happening on the network in real time.
This portfolio walks through each capability of the wallet from everyday BTC and cBTC transfers to the sidechain's underlying security model, asset issuance, NFT creation, and fee management alongside the Sidechain Explorer that gives users and stakeholders full visibility into network activity.
Positioning
Anduro Wallet is built as infrastructure not a speculative trading app. Its feature set centers on custody, transfer, issuance, and transparency, making it suitable for both individual users and organizations building on the Anduro network.
Bitcoin Native
Every asset traces back to real Bitcoin locked on the mainchain, never a synthetic promise.
Two Way Peg
Move value between Bitcoin and the sidechain in either direction without a custodial hop.
Asset Insured
Custom tokens and NFTs inherit the same collateral guarantees as the native peg asset.
Full Transparency
Every transaction, peg event and validator action is inspectable in the companion explorer.
The Six Components
Six Projects, One Ecosystem
"Anduro" refers to an ecosystem made up of six distinct projects. Each has a different role, a different audience, and is worth evaluating on its own this section breaks down what each one is before the rest of the portfolio covers them in detail
Anduro Sidechain
The network itself. A fork of the Bitcoin codebase, extended with native support for asset and NFT issuance and lower transaction fees. Secured via merged mining, so Bitcoin miners can secure the sidechain using the same proof of work at no extra energy cost. Everything else in this portfolio is built on top of this chain
Anduro Federation
The governance and custody layer that secures the peg between Bitcoin and the sidechain. A defined set of members, each running an Anduro Federation node, hold the keys that control deposit and withdrawal addresses. When a user swaps BTC to cBTC or back, the federation processes the transaction and submits it to the network using the required member signatures.
Indexer
A backend service, not user facing. It listens to ZMQ notifications from both Bitcoin and sidechain nodes in real time, matches incoming transactions against registered wallet users, stores UTXOs for the wallet to spend from, and maintains transaction, asset, and NFT history. The Indexer is the data layer that powers both the Wallet and the Explorer without it, neither has live balances or history
Anduro Wallet
The user facing self custody app. Handles BTC and cBTC send/receive, BTC ⇄ cBTC swaps, asset and NFT creation and transfer, and Bump Fee for stuck mempool transactions all from a single interface, so users don't need separate apps or browser extensions to move between mainchain and sidechain activity
Anduro Sidechain Explorer
A public, read only block explorer for the sidechain separate from the wallet. Lets anyone search addresses, transaction hashes, blocks, or asset IDs, inspect block and transaction detail, browse the asset and NFT registry, and track peg activity in real time. Built for transparency, not transacting
Federation Admin Panel
An internal dashboard for the federation, not a public tool. Gives complete visibility into the federation member information, proposals, and transaction details and lets existing members submit proposals to add new members and vote on them
How they connect
The Sidechain is the chain itself. The Federation is the group of key holders that secures the peg between that chain and Bitcoin, processing every swap with member signatures. The Indexer watches both chains and builds usable data from them. The Wallet is the user interface built on that data. The Explorer is the public, read only window into the same data. The Admin Panel is the federation's own internal window into its members, proposals, and transactions. Remove the Indexer and both the Wallet and Explorer lose their live view of the network; remove the Federation and the peg has no one to sign it

Security model
Deposits and withdrawals move through designated addresses controlled by the Anduro Federation, a defined group of members who each sign off before a swap is submitted to the network. The sidechain itself is merge mined with Bitcoin, tying its block production to the same miner base. See Section 05 for a full breakdown of the federation, the peg mechanism, and the underlying security assumptions
Security & Architecture
How the Sidechain Is Built and Secured
Anduro's sidechain is a fork of the Bitcoin codebase it inherits Bitcoin's transaction model, scripting, and UTXO structure, then extends it with native support for asset issuance, NFTs, and lower transaction fees. This section outlines how the sidechain achieves security and how value moves safely between chains
Consensus & Mining
The sidechain uses merged mining: miners who secure the Bitcoin mainchain can simultaneously commit proof of work to the Anduro sidechain, at no additional energy cost. This ties sidechain block production to the same miner base as Bitcoin rather than a separate, smaller validator set
Note for reviewers
Merged mining shares Bitcoin's hashpower infrastructure, but sidechain security still scales with the share of Bitcoin miners actively merge mining Anduro at any given time. Stakeholders evaluating the network should confirm current merge mining participation levels rather than treat mainchain and sidechain security as strictly identical
The Peg: The Anduro Federation
The bridge between Bitcoin and the sidechain is secured by the Anduro Federation, not by the sidechain's consensus alone. The federation is a defined group of members, each running an Anduro Federation node and holding a key pair. Federation keys control the designated deposit and withdrawal addresses that BTC and cBTC move through, and the federation must supply the required member signatures before any peg transaction is submitted to the network
| Stage | What Happens | Where It's Enforced |
|---|---|---|
| Peg in | User deposits BTC to the federation's designated deposit address; cBTC is minted on the sidechain | Bitcoin mainchain + federation signatures |
| Sidechain use | cBTC moves freely, and can interact with assets/NFTs on the sidechain | Anduro sidechain consensus |
| Peg out | User requests withdrawal; federation members sign and submit the release of BTC from the withdrawal address | Federation signatures + Bitcoin mainchain |
| Verification | Every peg in and peg out is indexed and viewable in the Sidechain Explorer | Indexer / Explorer |
Federation Governance
The federation launches with 3 member key pairs, each required to run an Anduro Federation node. Membership can grow over time to a maximum of 15 members, with a minimum of 3 maintained at all times. New members are not added unilaterally an existing member submits a proposal to add a new member, and current federation members vote on it before the change takes effect
Note for reviewers
Peg security is a function of the federation's signature threshold and the number and independence of its members, not of merge mining. Stakeholders should confirm the signing threshold (how many of the current members must sign to move funds), how member keys are held, and the current member count and identities these determine the actual trust assumption behind every BTC ⇄ cBTC swap
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| Member Information | View current federation members and their node status |
| Proposals | View proposals to add new federation members |
| Transaction Details | Inspect peg and federation transaction activity |
| Add Member Proposal | Existing members submit a proposal to add a new member |
| Voting | Existing federation members vote on open proposals |
Low Fees Without Reduced Security
Lower transaction fees on the sidechain come from its own fee market and block parameters, separate from Bitcoin mainchain congestion not from a reduction in the consensus security backing the chain, which remains tied to merge mined proof of work, or in the federation signatures securing the peg
Independent verification
This section describes Anduro's stated architecture for presentation purposes. Stakeholders evaluating the product for production or investment use should independently verify merge mining participation, the federation's signature threshold and member composition, and audit status before relying on it for meaningful value

Indexer & Backend Architecture
The Engine Behind the Wallet and Explorer
A real time indexing service tracks activity across both Bitcoin and the Anduro sidechain, keeping wallet balances, transaction history, and asset records instantly up to date
Real time ZMQ listening
The indexer subscribes to ZMQ notifications from network nodes, receiving every new transaction as it enters the mempool and is confirmed in a block for both Bitcoin and the Anduro sidechain
Matching against registered users
Each incoming transaction is checked against the database of registered Anduro Wallet users to identify whether it involves an address the platform tracks
UTXO storage
When a transaction belongs to a registered user, its UTXO details are captured and stored the same UTXOs the wallet later selects from when constructing new outgoing transactions
Unified user & asset records
The database also maintains registered user profiles, full transaction history, and asset and NFT details across both the Bitcoin and sidechain networks the same data surfaced in the wallet and the Sidechain Explorer
| Data Tracked | Source | Used By |
|---|---|---|
| UTXO details | ZMQ transaction notifications | Wallet transaction construction |
| Registered users | Wallet registration | Transaction matching, account lookup |
| Transaction history | Indexed BTC & sidechain activity | Wallet & Sidechain Explorer |
| Asset & NFT details | Sidechain asset/NFT creation & transfer events | Wallet & Sidechain Explorer |
Why it matters
Because indexing happens in real time off live ZMQ notifications rather than periodic polling, wallet balances and the UTXO set stay current with minimal delay so new transactions can be built as soon as funds are received
